Six Australian boys landed in Brazil this weekend, they are the first group from the AFS that have embarked in an exciting new program in partnership with two of Brazil’s biggest clubs Clube Atltetico Mineiro and Cruzeiro FC.
Both clubs are based in Bello Horizonte in the state of Mina Gerais, they are both competing in the Brazilian National League and play their games at the Minerao which is one of the venues that will be used for the FIFA World Cup in 2014.

A Gala Night in order to raise funds for our travelling teams heading over to England and Spain in March 2010 will be held on Sunday 14 March 2010 at Casa D'abruzzo Club, 55 O'Herns Road, Epping from 5:00 PM.
All proceeds from the night will be donated directly to the players in order to assist them in their quest to take on some of the best junior teams in the world as they will be competing in the Mediterranean International Cup which is being held in Barcelona for the 10th consecutive year.

The U11 Rep Team landed in Melbourne on Saturday 6 February after spending 9 glorious days in New Zealand. It was the first time these boys had traveled overseas to play football.

The AFS U11 Rep Team travelled to Wellington, a total of 31 People departed to New Zealand on Friday 29 January 2010. The group comprised of players, parents and coaching staff and were all very excited as it was the first time the boys had travelled overseas to play football.
Tyler Seabrook from Shepparton is one of the players in the team is writing a daily blog in order to keep the rest of the AFS family informed.
