The program will run from 16 October 2007 to 17 February 2008, with a 3 week break during Christmas and New Year. You can view our events calendar for more information. It is available to boys and girls aged between 10 (born in 98) to 17 (born in 91). Trials will be held in august in a selected venue in your local zone. The highlights of the program are: - Pride of representing your zone
- Training by qualified coaches
- Opportunity to play interstate or overseas with one of the program representative squads
- Weekend competitive matches against other zones in Victoria.
- Exposure to different surfaces and environments, for example: beach, grass, synthetic and futsal (indoor).
- Ideal learning environment during training and games.
- Training and playing at quality venues throughout Victoria
- Major outdoor championships at the end of the program.
- Major indoor championships at the beginning of 2008.
The program includes: - 15 Week Program
- 2 training session per week at a quality venue in your zone
- Inter Zone Competition
- Training Kit
- Playing Uniform
- Quality Coaching
- Football during the club off season

Click here to view what zone you are eligible to trial for. Please note that any players that participated last year in the FFV Academy, and were part of a particular zone; are eligible to choose whether to trial for that zone again or be considered for the new zone they reside in. For example players that were in the Monash zone last year but reside in another zone this year, can choose which one to trial for.
Registration Costs There are no costs associated with trials. If you are selected to represent your zone, the registration costs are: - Country zones $605 inc GST
- Metro Zones $715 inc GST
Refund Policy Any player that trials for Australian Football School and FFV's V>Elite program, and is fortunate enough to be selected for both, will be in a very good position. We will support that player in whatever option they want to take, if he/she decides to opt for the V>Elite spot instead of the AFS, we will support them fully in their decission and will refund any moneys paid to AFS. This provides great flexibility and ensures that players are able to continue their development in the summer months. For any further information email us
