A Gala Night in order to raise funds for our travelling teams heading over to England and Spain in March 2010 will be held on Sunday 14 March 2010 at Casa D'abruzzo  Club, 55 O'Herns Road, Epping from 5:00 PM. 

All proceeds from the night will be donated directly to the players in order to assist them in their quest to take on some of the best junior teams in the world as they will be competing in the Mediterranean International Cup which is being held in Barcelona for the 10th consecutive year.

Three AFS Representative teams; the U15, U16 and U19 Boys age groups are heading to Europe for a week training camp in England where they will have a mixture of training sessions with English FA coaches, practice games against English teams, attending Professional games and taking in some of the sites of the famous stadiums and tourist spots. 

All this before they head over to Barcelona where they will participate in one of the world's most prestigious junior tournaments the Mediterranean International Cup (MIC).  Clubs such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Inter Milan will be in attendance and also National teams from Brazil, Mexico and China.  Here is some more information about the tournament www.micfootball.com

In order to assist the players financially and farewell them on this fantastic journey, there will be a night for all to enjoy and raise some much needed funds for the boys.

There will be priceless memorabilia auctions, raffles, door prizes and entertainment available on the night, accompanied by a three course meal served at your table.  All the players will be introduced on the night and we will hear some words from the coaches and captains.
