Welcome to the Australian Football Skool online Registration form:

Player registration fees for 2008/09 season are $815 and $705 for the 16 weeks program for Metro and Country players respectively.

All players must register before attending trials which will be held in September 2008, Details of trials in your region will be posted on our website www.footballskool.com.au by the 20th of August 2008.

AFS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

"For the Good of the Game" 

  1.  You will abide by the directions from the Coaching & Management staff appointed by Australian Football Skool (AFS).
  2. You will attend all sessions of the 2007/2008 AFS Summer Program including every match, training, fitness and educational session as directed by the Coaching staff. You must be punctual, behave with self-discipline and give notice of and reasons for any absence.  
  3. All information regarding the program will be delivered to you by your Zone Manger or Coach. If you miss training you must check the website or contact the zone manager to make sure there has been no change to the schedule. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the latest information on all AFS activities.
  4. If any of your personal details change, you must notify the Zone Manager as soon as possible.  
  5. You will do your best to reach your full potential in sport, school and other responsibilities.
  6.  You will abide by the Player's Code of Conduct.  
  7. At all times during training, matches and all related activities of the AFS you will wear only, AFS authorised clothing, as directed by the Head Coach (this includes shirts, shorts, socks and tracksuits). There will be no exceptions to this rule for match day. 
  8. If at anytime you are taking medication of any form you will notify the Coaching staff.
  9.  You will not consume drugs or any banned substances to enhance your performance and you will accept the possibility of termination of this agreement if found to have done so. If requested by the AFS, you will provide urine or body fluid sample for drug test by the Australian Sports Drug Agency (ASDA).
  10. You will not comment on any AFS program or staff member to the media without the permission of the AFS.

By breaching any of these requirements you may be placed on probation or have your place in the Academy Program terminated.

PLAYERS' CODE OF CONDUCT 

This code of conduct shall apply to all particpants involved in the Australian Football Skool Summer Program. Any breach thereof shall be subject to disciplinary action by AFS with possible expulsion from the program.

 

  • Winning at all costs isn't everything; at this age learning is more important than winning.
  • I will only listen to my coaches’ instructions during training and games. No one else.
  • I will not engage in the use of crude, foul or abusive language that may be deemed offensive or engage in any conduct detrimental to the image of the game when on or off the field.
  • I will refrain from arguing with the referee and/or assistant referees regarding decisions they make.
  • I will treat participants, officials and spectators with respect.
  • I will play by the laws of the game.
  • I will cooperate with my coach, team mates, referees ad officials.
  • I will not use any banned substance or drugs of dependence throughout my involvement in the AFS Summer Program.
  • I will display good sportsmanship at all times.
  • I will play for the fin of it and not just to please parents and coaches.

 

PARENT'S CODE OF CONDUCT 

This code of conduct shall apply to parents and guardians. Any breach thereof shall be subject to disciplinary action by Australian Football Skool.

  • Do not Coach your child during training sessions and games.  That's what the coaches are there for, it sends mixed messages to the players creating confusion.
  • Do not interfere with training sessions, stay clear of training areas.
  •  Cheer on and encourage the players at all times, even the opposition, applaud good football all-round.
  • Winning at all costs isn't everything, we're here to develop the players, at this age learning is more important than winning.
  • Remember that children play sport for their enjoyment, not yours.
  • Encourage children to participate, do not force them.
  • Focus on the child's efforts and performance rather than winning or losing.
  • Encourage children to always participate according to the rules.
  • Never ridicule or yell at a child for making a mistake or losing a game.
  • Remember that children learn best by example, applaud good play by all teams.
  • Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities.
  • Respect officials' decisions and teach children to do likewise.
  • Show appreciation of coaches, officials and administrators. Without them, your child could not participate.
  • Respect the facilities that are being used in partnership with AFS.

 

 

Photographic Consent

I hereby irrevocably permit and authorise Australian Football Skool to take photographs of my child which may be used in the creation and production of promotional material for display in AFS’ websites and within the media.

I acknowledge that the copyright of these photographs and their reproduction in any form belongs to and is owned by AFS and that my child will not be entitled to any proceedings and/or profits arising from the sale of the photographs and any reproductions in any form.

PARENT CONSENT 

I, being the (PARENT/GUARDIAN) of player whose details appear on this form, hereby consent to the player's participation in training activities and competition matches under the direction of the staff appointed by Australian Football Skool. In the event of medical emergency, I authorise any treatments or procedures that may be deemed necessary by legally qualified medical practitioner.  If there are any pre-existing medical conditions my children suffer from or special attention that that my chidren may require, I will notify the apprpoiate AFS staff.
